Zihuatanejo offers many eco touristic activities, like sailing and diving at sunset, exploring the tropical wilderness, snorkeling or scuba diving in the coral reefs, kayaking, swimming and bicycling.

There is also tennis and paddle to consider and in neighboring Ixtapa (10 minutes away), there are two golf greens, one designed by Robert von Hagge and the other one by Robert Trend Jones Jr.
Its waters are a paradise to the sportsman that enjoys big game fishing such as pacific sailfish, mahi mahi, marlin, wahoo and yellowfish tuna.

While some of these activities are free, most have an additional cost.
